I was charge 1300$ for a recurring payment made by Shopify.

I never authorized this payment and want a refund. I setup up an account on Shopify but never used it and now they're trying to charge me 1300$ for idk what. I have tried contacting Shopify with no luck, does anyone know how to contact?

Hi, @Mikemoss8421. I'm happy to help you out with this. To clarify, did you see recurring charges totalling $1300 or did you get charged $1300 at once?

Without being able to see your account it's difficult for us to say for certain what this charge was for. That being said, recurring charges from Shopify are typically subscription or app fees. If you did not fully close your store you would continue to be charged for these fees, even if you choose not to use your account. If this is a charge for an account you no longer want to use you'll want to cancel your subscription and deactivate your store by following these steps to prevent charges going forwad. Refunds are against our Terms of Service, as explained here. However, we would be able to review this with you in more detail if you contact our support team through this page.
