They said I had a 3 day $1 trial then I am charged $40. They charged me 3 months $1. So this is false. Cannot get them on the phone. Totally unprofessional. I will never use this platform.

Hi @kristinabrown6 ,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand the need to have your billing charges reviewed for a refund. However, this is not something we can do here over social media as we cannot authenticate merchant accounts. So to protect the privacy of your sensitive information, we aren't able to access your store.

Please note that Shopify generally doesn't provide refunds as outlined in our Terms of Service here. However, depending on the store's status when it was closed and if any sales had been made for the billed period, our team would be happy to look into the availability of a refund for the latest charge.

To contact our live support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center - Contact Support, sign in to your store account. Select Account>Plans and billing, then scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you should see the 'Get Support' section, where you can select your preferred communication channel.

Let me know if that helps.

Same for me, I was just charged $41 by Shopify even though my store was inactive. They don’t send any email or warning, and after some time they just take money without you knowing. Of course, it’s written somewhere in small text, but most people don’t see that. I think it’s a tricky way to make users forget and then keep charging. I feel like Shopify is taking money legally, but it’s not honest. I will definitely speak more about this so others are not tricked the same way.
