All things Shopify and commerce
So recently my store was doing 3-7 sales a day and was crushing it. Suddenly I hit a slump for the last few days. No sales. I recently sold out of one of the variants but people are still putting the other variants of my clothes in their carts and even reaching checkout. I have had so many people reach checkout and nobody is completing the purchase.
My website is versatiledreams.com.
If anyone could tell me the issue that would be greatly appreciated
Hi @KamelH51, I'm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.
I love your products which look unique, comfy but cool; the website design looks clean & majestic. But I totally understand the hardships of growing an online fashion business that you are facing. So, from my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to offer some suggestions to help you get more engagement & increase sales.
1. Add the Explore more button to your first showcase
Consider adding the Explore more button to your Feature products section to allow shoppers to view additional products from your first showcase. This would help reduce bounce rate as they can continue to explore other options to their liking, so increase shoppers' engagement & allow more chances of getting sales.
2. Make the price information more noticeable
Shoppers often visit e-commerce websites with the primary intent of finding and comparing prices. You should set it bold or use another color to make the price information more noticeable. It will meet shoppers' expectations and help them make informed decisions quickly.
Also, consider adding an Add to cart button to the product display to increase the chance of getting sales.
You can take this image below as a reference:
3. Adding more type of images for your product display
Consider using Lookbook and provide real-life product images to display your products. Seeing real people wear clothing helps potential customers see how these items might look on themselves. This is crucial in helping customers make purchasing decisions, as they can better understand the fit, style, and look of your products in real life.
4. Restructure the product description
The current product description for me is a bit overwhelming. All the text is bold and in uppercase font, so shoppers can be confused about what information they should focus on. Consider using bold effect for only key information, for example the title.

5. Add Return Policy & Delivery date on product page
You should make the Return Policy with a direct link in the main content of the product page, either as a link in the "Buy" section or as a product page section, to minimize the time users spend locating it.
Also, note that you should show the estimated shipping date right on the product page as well. It allows customers to choose products based on their urgency or timeline, which can lead to more informed and confident buying choices, avoiding the bouncing rate when they reach the checkout page.
Hope my feedback will provide valuable insights to help you to grow your business better! Wish you luck & endurance in your journey ✨
Cheers,

Hi, I have seen the SAME. Its like sales just went off a cliff. Did you change anything at all about your advertising? How are your sessions? Are they still the same? My session actually have been UP!! That the most confusing part of all! Been selling online for over 6 years, this makes so sense to be happening for my business.
Hi Kamel,
That's such an interesting topic, I am always surprised by how sales can fluctuate so much.
We sell women's fashion and use SEO and Facebook ads to market mostly.
From day to day sales can be 10x up and 10x down. We can have a period of a couple of days when it's depressing then suddenly it's all back. It really weird but I think you have to look at it over a longer period.
For me I feel that it's to do with
A. the funnel being filled and then emptied
B. Facebook demand and algorithm. It sometime feels like they just dump a load of ads on the right audience.
C. Seasonality and time of month and weather!
D. Changes made by shop owner. Like new ads, new collections at.
E Changes made by Google SEO wise
F On occasions, problems with the checkout or website speed etc
That said I would LOVE to hear what others think about how to smooth the cycle. I am always searching this topic.
