Is there a way to bulk edit them like in the products bulk editor?

I've seen apps and it's all automated non sense that does not help with the SEO, i need a way where they're lined up in a table and i can edit them fast on the go, entering alt texts manually for each image is taking 50% of my time, it's insane.

Hi @Curinom ,

Best solution (manual + fast + SEO-friendly):

Use Matrixify (formerly Excelify)

  • Export your products with image data.
  • Edit ALT text manually in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Re-import to update ALT texts in bulk.

Why it's best:

  • You get full manual control.
  • Edit in a fast, spreadsheet-style format.
  • No auto-generated fluff.
  • Works perfectly for SEO-focused workflows.

Please use this option and let me know if you need any further clarifications.

Thanks !

this would import all data of products, right? so we are talking about a huge download here, then the upload would be a nightmare

Hi Curinom,

You are able to configure your product export to only include the fields you would need and filter by a number of different product fields if you do not want to export your entire catalog. The Matrixify documentation is great for understanding the app. I would really recommend reading the import documentation as well prior to importing your products to understand the different commands that are available.

If you're moving from another platform and want to retain your SEO data like image alt texts, Cart2Cart can help automate the migration of product images, metadata, and more, reducing the need to manually re-enter content.

Sorry to post this here but i tried submitting this question twice and shopify system flagged it as spam for some reason and reporting it is not working.
This is my post:

Hello,

About email and email forwarding, would the customers receive order emails from me as info@mysite.com or my gmail email would appear instead? cause i have read that i would have to subscribe to an email service to have that and the only free thing i can have is customers being able to send emails to me at info@mysite.com (which forwards it to my gmail)?
