Image Loading/Effect Question

First of all thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I am fairly new to liquid and still trying to figure stuff out. Had two questions if someone can point me to which files I need to edit

1. How do i change the hover over effect on the main page on the two collection images? Can i change the hover effect just on mobile, as in disable hover in mobile?

2. Once you click on a collection (lets say fire starter) the page should load the two images up of the products. However, seems like sometimes the images load and sometimes they dont (Tried on Chome, Edge, and Safari). I am guessing its a lazy_load and I need to disable it, but cant seem to figure out where the exact code is.
