Images attached to product variants are not switching when selected - Dawn 12.0.0

Hi, I have the dawn theme set up and I noticed today that when I'm on a product page and I select one of the variants (color) it no longer causes the product image to change to that variant image that it's attached to. So for example, if I select "brown" the image doesn't switch to showing the brown version, it just stays on the first photo. I'm not sure how to get it working again. Can anyone help?
