All things Shopify and commerce
Hello,
I have a specific requirement for my Shopify store's checkout process and I'm seeking guidance on how to implement it. I would like to apply a price increase of 1.3% to the product price when a customer selects the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method during checkout.
Is it possible to achieve this functionality within the Shopify checkout process? If so, what would be the recommended approach or solution to implement this requirement?
I want to ensure that when customers choose the COD payment option, the product price is automatically adjusted to reflect the 1.3% increase. Any insights, tips, or suggestions on how to accomplish this customization would be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to modify the content to align with your store's specific requirements or provide additional context if needed. This question should effectively convey your need for guidance on implementing the price increase for the COD payment method and demonstrate your willingness to receive assistance from the Shopify community.
Thanks.
Hello @rp90
This is not unfortunately possible inside Shopify settings, but you can do this by using our app Releasit Cash On Delivery which allows you to add a fee to cash on delivery in Shopify
You can check and install the app on the Shopify App Store here: https://apps.shopify.com/cash-on-delivery-fee
Then you can configure your 1.3% fee for cash on delivery here:
The app is completely free to install and works on all Shopify plans and we also offer 24/7 support, so if you have any questions or you need help feel free to contact us from there!
I hope this helps you!
Marco from Releasit
