Integrating Bank's payment gateway, where to start? (BoA)

Hi there,

I was interested in using Bank of America's payment gateway to use in conjunction with my Shopify store. BoA offers the following:

"You can take payments easily on your site through a Hosted Payments Page, Checkout API, Microform Integration or Card Not Present Integration Toolkit."

I'm not too savvy in where to start so I'll likely be reaching out to a partner to have it integrated, but what is the best place to start to know how to request that integration of the payment gateway? Is it just as simple as having their hosted payments page take priority after hitting "checkout" to redirect to BoA for payment and then back to Shopify for confirmation? Thanks
