Hello, I'm running a Shopify store selling CBD products with different bundle sizes (e.g., 2g, 6g, 10g, and 30g). I’d like to set it up so that if someone buys a 10g bundle, Shopify automatically deducts five 2g units from my inventory.
Is there a way to automatically adjust inventory levels like this in Shopify, especially when products share the same base stock? I've heard of using bundling apps but would appreciate guidance on setting up the right app or any alternative solutions. Thanks!

Hi @arnelo,
The Material Manager app can do this. It allows you to track the inventory of raw materials that you use to sell your finished products well keeping all the inventory in sync.
In your case you would enter a raw material for your 2g unit. Then you would link each of the actual products you sell specifying how much of that unit is needed to sell the finished product. It will then work as you described, you sell the 10g unit which will draw down 5 x 2g units from your raw material inventory. It will then also sync your Shopify inventory calculating how many of each product you can sell with the remaining material inventory.

You can use bundling apps like Bundle Products by Mageworx, Bold Bundles, or Bundler – Product Bundles to automatically adjust inventory when a bundle is purchased. These apps will deduct the correct number of individual products (like 2g units) when a bundle (like 10g) is sold.
Hi @arnelo,
The Easify Inventory Sync app is specifically designed to address challenges like yours. It enables you to accurately deduct various bundle sizes of a product from your total inventory, ensuring that your stock levels remain accurate and manageable - something that Shopify's default settings might not effectively handle.
The app’s user guide includes detailed use cases and setup instructions that may be similar to your needs 🤗. You can refer to it for guidance on setting up a bundle inventory group, or reach out to the Easify team for step-by-step assistance.
Hi @arnelo
This is Ellie from BOGOS, #1 Shopify Promotion App.
For your case, a quantity break bundle might help you solve the issue. You can display a "set of 5" of the 2g products -> customers can add them directly to cart -> Shopify will deduct 5 2g product units from your inventory. Below is a screenshot of how it may look on your store, using BOGOS app to set it up.
