THE BULK EDITOR IS NOT WORKING AS IT PREVIOUSLY DID. IS EVERYONE EXPERIENCING THESE CHANGES?

Yes. I am also finding that the bulk editor for variants has changed and doesn't seem as user friendly. Does anyone know if this is just a temporary glitch or something permanent? Thanks.

I am not aware of any specific changes to the bulk editor besides it opening to a separate page, however your feedback is important. If there are any issues we need to investigate we do want to be aware!

I've noticed that recently the bulk product editor no longer auto saves the columns I select.
Currently the bulk editer has preselected fields which are always the same: Product Title, Price, Compare at Priceand SKU, however, whenever I used to change these columns (e.g. selecting Inventory Quantity and removing Compare at Price) it used to auto save them for the next time I used the bulk editor (or it did until I logged out of the system), but now every time I go to use the Product Editor I have to manually do it as it resets back to the default colums. This gets tiresome when you're making changes multiple times throught the day.
To me, it seems logical for the system to remeber your previous preferences, as it saves a lot of time not having to manually change them.

While I can't confirm this was purposeful, or if the feedback will result in the return of the functionality, I can assure you I will provide this directly to our developers as I can agree this is a needed feature.

As Azza101 mentioned the bulk editor does not auto save the columns anymore. Also, the meta description field is empty. I've included a before/after shot (below). Thanks.

Thank you for the screenshot! I will be including this in the escalation to our developers. As I mentioned to @azza101 , I cannot guarantee this will result in change, however it will be brought forth with urgency and I will push to have this investigated.
Yes, I tried to link facebook and it removed a bunch of my products from my online store...
When I try to add my Online Store as a available channel for all the affected products it does nothing...
If I set it maually on the product page it works normally.
I do not want to have to go trough 10 000 products one by one to add them back...
The new bulk editor is a nightmare :(. They have dumbed it down, and you can no longer properly edit tags. I have some tags that are lower case, and some that are capitalized correctly, and I cannot fix the ones that are lower case because it forces me to choose the incorrect one from a drop down list, arggh! I can no longer just type in the field. The bulk editor was fine the way it was!

Any news from the developers on this? We are unable to use the new bulk editor it is so bad.
A response from Shopify on how and when they are going to fix this problem would be great - it's actually becoming quite a big inconvenience and I'm concerned there is no work-around for this problem...?
OK, YOU'VE GOT TO FIX THIS - I CAN'T EDIT THESE TITLES IF I CAN'T SEE THEM, THIS IS **bleep** RIDICULOUS.
The bulk editor is not working at all, it is completely useless. It cuts off the item titles and you can't resize the columns, you have to select new columns every time you open it, it only shows 2 tags - if you have 4 there are just the first 2 shown and a (+2) - ridiculous. Also, if you select tags on multiple items, they will all match the first one selected now. It is a complete disaster, and if not fixed, i will be taking my business elsewhere.
I don't understand why tech companies take something that was working perfectly fine... remove functionality, make it "simpler" to use (ie giving you less control), forget to put any time into testing it, and then roll it out and ignore all the complaints from users. This is happening to us in so many places right now, it's so frustrating.
The new bulk editor is awful. Shopify, please please please go back to the old bulk editor, i can't believe the new version made it through testing. it's infinitely less user friendly than the previous version. There was nothing wrong with the previous version, it did not need an update. We use this tool daily and it's practically unusable now.

You can revert to the previous, working, version of the bulk editor by deleting "/products" from the url address, for now......
Hi! We had been doing this for a while but the option seems to have disappeared as of last friday, seems like it's only the new useless awful editor now. I really can't believe anyone at shopify thought this new editor was a good idea. it's so obviously terrible.
Hello Shopify! We've stopped using the bulk editor entirely because it's so useless. i wish you would roll back this awful update, i'm in the middle of updating inventory right now which previously would have taken me a minute or two in the old bulk editor, but because the new one is so terrible i'm just updating my inventory one product at a time.
I agree - the new Bulk Editor is horrible!!!
We have a lot of product variants and I am almost finding it completely useless.
It will only load 50 items at a time, it's hard to view columns, slow to load and very very clunky.
Plus - you cannot filter items.
Shopify can you please revert back to the old editor?...
The new version of the Bulk Editor is very prone to not actually loading ... I am looking at the page with just grey lines where all my columns and variants should be. It has been nine minutes of this now. Has anyone else had this issue? I have tried exiting, reloading, signing out and signing back in, but nothing is fixing it. I have a team waiting on me to get things updated here and a limited amount of time in which to do so. When this keeps happening, it hurts my business by slowing down my team.
