Is it safe to invite a 'Shopify expert community' member to my store?

Hi,

I recently started a shopify store and was contacted by someone claiming to be part of 'shopify expert community'. He contacted me through Gmail and wants to help my store by implementing Conversion Rate Optimization among other thing.

He wants me to send him a collaboration invite for -online store -products and collections -themes and edit code -App -Setting.  

Is this real or is it a scam? What exactly am I allowing him access to? Can a remove access? how do I know if he is legit? 

Any help would be appreciated.

@Mike228 I wouldn't say he is a scam, but you should not trust anyone with your store unless you are 100% confident with the guy. I would recommend asking him for his Shopify Forum profile or Partner link. Call him directly, ask him questions, and get to know him first before giving him any access.
