Should be fine for collection/product descriptions however you should review the generated content for quality or misinformation.

Do a google search for "Is it safe to use AI-generated content for collection descriptions" there are heaps of articles explaining the pros and cons of using AI-generated content.

Hi!

Well, now a lot of stores prefer using ChatGPT or other AI for creating content, or at least they edit their own content with AI. So Google softened its position towards AI content. But I can recommend you using more advanced AI, and always check the results for quality.

Personally I used ChatGPT, but then switched to Shopify app ChatGPT AI Content Generator, its the same thing, but automatically inserts collection descriptions and other content to the right places, and there's acess to 4o model.

So if you choose AI for creating content, it's fine, you're not alone. The majority do this.
