Is Negate Bot Protection effective against bot attacks?

Hi 

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience using Negate Bot Protection?

Our site has been experiencing multiple bot attacks, mainly from Singapore & China. On these days, our traffic appeared high but the conversion rate dropped drastically and our sales were very low. Shopify advised installing Negate, which we did 7 days ago. The analytics on the back end of negate, point to large numbers of Bots and a large saving on my FB & Google Ads, but I'm not convinced. I have the shield set to moderate/aggressive. All the reviews point to excellent support, but I have been awaiting a live chat response for over an hour and am now considering turning the App off. I'd welcome any feedback on bots or Negate, I'm tearing my hair out! TIA

We are also having a problem with a bit attack, making thousands of customer accounts and a handful of fake orders. We added negate, reached out for support, didn't get a reply until the next day, apparently due to maintenance. And was told we needed custom code and would have to upgrade to their highest package to get help.

We're now trying shop protector.

We removed Negate shortly after I posted on here, we never received a reply on their live chat and were concerned that the app was affecting all traffic. because we couldn't get any support we took the decision to remove it.

The traffic levels recovered (although this could include bot traffic) and we are still periodically getting small bot attacks but at the moment its not hugely affecting things. I dare say it will happen again and there doesn't seem to be an answer.
