Is shopify selling our account info to spamers?

I am getting emails from App developers and selling ad performance, etc. 
I am confident this is shopify selling our account info and/or giving app developers & spammers our info. 

Why? I am receiving this spam from an email address that is not on my store. It is the email address I use for my shopify account and only a couple other accounts (not related to shopify) These emails are targeting programming / promotion / ads relating to my website and shopify specifically. 

I am curious to if any others here, with a shopify store, is seeing this?

Shopify does not give your mail to spammers. Those who message you got your mail from maybe your contact page or other platforms
