Is there a limit on the metafields attribute? I can only add 128 metafields max.

I have some clarification on the number of metafields we can add per product. I have 128 metafields, and can no longer add more. Is there a way we can increase it or this is the limit?

I do not think there is a way around this. Have you tried utilizing metaobject instead

Thank you for your reply. We use metafields for our Parts Finder search. We are building a Car Parts website. A ID as metafields is added for checking compatibility. May I know how we can use metaobject in this scenario?

I wonder if you can combine the product information, so it is save in one metaobject then add that metaobject in your product. Not quite sure if metaobject is counted as 1 metafield.

I'm facing the same issue. Some of our products have more than 1400 compatibles car ids. Did you find a solution to that ? 
[metafields list value (max 128), and tags (max 250)].
