Is there a tried and true method of in person document signing and uploading to existing order?

So we are trying to figure out if we can have our customers essentially sign a receipt digitally in person, via a signing pad. And from there the document automatically uploads into that customers order and marks it as fulfilled.

Is there an integration or system already in use? Or is that something we will need a customized build for?
