Is there a way to have different pricing based on state in the US

We are based out of Hawaii with 5 stores. We just opened a sixth store in Arizona, and the market there has lower pricing than in Hawaii. To be competitive, we need to have different pricing in AZ. We do not ship any items as the items we sell are now classified as restricted. We just need to display pricing differently in other states.

This might not be possible because information about the customer's state is available only after they enter their shipping address at checkout.

In addition, I would have suggested using Shopify Functions, which enables stores to create customized discounts, but delivery address information is only available for shipping discounts (not product or order discounts), so it wouldn't be usable to adjust the pricing.

If you're on Shopify Plus, you can try the Cart Transform Functions API, using an `UpdateOperation`.
