Is there a way to offer a free download of something in exachange for collecting a customers email?

So on my website I offer a free phone wallpaper that does get a decent amount of tracking. Here is my issue at the moment I have it set up as a product and the person checks out without payment since its free. This also collects there info which is great!

However, it really messes up my numbers and reporting as it comes through like its an actual order/sale? Are there any alternatives anyone can think of that would offer a similar idea but does not come through as an actual order?

Yes there is and in this case you dont have to make customer download anything before you have access to their mail. its called email automations didnt know much about it tho as am also new tot the business  but got a VA that help it setup on my store i can link you for assistance on it if you will be okay by it ?
