Is there a way to see which products are showing up as "sold out" on the website in a report?
I do not have my inventory automatically synced from my Quickbooks. I have many many products that have inventory of O but I have the "continue selling when out of stock" box checked for most of them. But I will have some that have actual limited amounts of inventory that I will manually fill in their amount and not have the "continue selling when out of stock" button checked. The problem occurs when the inventory comes back in stock and we don't input it into Shopify. It will still appear as "Out of stock". So, is there an easy way to get a report that tells me which product this affects?
I have tried using filters but I can't seem to find one that directly references "continue selling when out of stock". And looking at items with 0 or less isn't any good as most of my products are 0 or less.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Hi @lyschelw,
Keanna here from the Better Reports support team. I would recommend our app Better Reports!
We can create a custom report filtered for variants that have inventory quantity = 0 and which are not set to continue selling after they are out of stock. We can include any product/variant data that you need.
Better Reports offers more than 80 built-in reports that cover your most common reporting needs including sales, current inventory, refunds, payouts, and more. Our reports can even be scheduled to send at a set frequency to your email or Google Drive!
I encourage you to install Better Reports and start your free 14-day trial and I'll be happy to set this up for you.
