Is there an option to switch the right hand menu back on the admin panel?

After the shopify admin design changed today the right hand column not appearing anymore and all view working the same way as when you had a narrow viewport before.

I liked the old one left than jumping in and out from menus in a craped settings menu on the left. 

After a quick search I found out its the new layout and the new layout is really inefficient. Its an admin panel you don't need to make slick and compact. You want to have quick and easy access and not watching empty space.

Is there an option to turn it back again please?

I have the same issues with this "new layout" ... after speaking to Shopify support .. there is no way to revert back to the more efficient layout. The support person said they will send a request to the developers on my behalf .. but i doubt it will do any good 😞

I think if people push enough we can make change eventually. This update was an out of touch one but I think they have the willing to listen to their users and their goal is to bring better experience not to decrease it.

I wonder if everybody who has a problem with this update should contact support to ensure their voices are heard? Im not sure the community forum will be enough to get this changed back.

I hope it is. There has clearly been a huge backlash to the new design of the admin page. I like the idea of putting in support tickets to raise more awareness. Every little bit has got to help.

100% agree.  We are missing a ton of really useful info that was on the admin home page and is not easily found without going into multiple different reports.  We need the info that was taken away brought back.

After about a half a dozen live support chat requests to be reverted back to the old admin home page, I came into the office this morning to find that i got reverted BACK!!! (for one of my clients at least) We're on Shopify Plus, so I'm not sure if they'll allow non-plus stores to be reverted, but it's worth asking.  Live chat support was well aware of this issue and I was able to get "on a list" of people who need to be reverted back, but they couldn't get me a timeline.  This morning, all my info is back, just like it used to be!  Although, they did tell me if they did revert me, it'll be "temporary, while the work on updating the new admin home page and analytics dashboar).

So hop on that live chat, explain to them how this new admin home page is actually costing you money by having to spend time running daily individual reports for things like: Online Store Total Product Sales (after discount, before returns, tax and shipping), top products (by sales channel), ability to view and compare custom dates, etc...  Good luck!
