There's not a great reason besides forcing you to pay $2000/month why vaulting couldn't be possible on standard Shopify plans, Shopify said for years it had to do with PCI compliance but this was never the real reason (their competitors use credit card tokenization, where the card info is stored separately and called into use by a token that triggers a certain card to be used for payment).
Has anyone figured out a workaround to vaulted cards on a D2C website?
