"Dear Merchant,
We are writing to inform you that your sales portal has been flagged for non-compliance with Shopify's business compliance standards. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a secure and effective marketplace, it is crucial that all merchants adhere to Shopify's policies.
You have 72 hours to address the compliance issues and bring your portal into full alignment with the required standards. Failure to resolve this within the given timeframe may result in the suspension of your store and a halt in all sales activities.
We strongly recommend that you review the compliance guidelines, identify the areas that require correction, and update your store accordingly. Once the necessary changes have been made, please submit your portal for review to ensure the continued operation of your business.
Kindly reply with "ASSIST NOW" to this email if you require support in resolving this matter.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this critical issue. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth continuation of your business operations.
Best regards,
The Shopify Team"
The email it came from was: shopify.emailsvpport@gmail.com
Please help!!!
It's a scam. Shopify emails will always come from an address ending in @Shopify.com.
Legitimate corporations use their own branded email domains, not generic ones like Gmail. If you receive an email claiming to be from Shopify but coming from @gmail.com (or any other public domain), it's a scam. Report it as spam and ignore it.
Hope this helps put your mind at ease!

Thank you very much!!!
This is definitely a scam! You can report this by forwarding it to safety@shopify.com so Shopify’s security team can investigate. Also, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account if you haven’t already, just to be extra safe.
