All things Shopify and commerce
hi. i just get this email from you:
Dear Merchant,
Hey @Satin4u
It's a scam email because Shopify would never contact you from any other domain except for shopify.com domain so there's nothing to worry about and for safety precautions it is always recommended to not share any information to scam emails.
Best Regards,
Moeed

Hi @Satin4u
This email sounds like a phishing attempt, Shopify does not ask merchants to reply with "GUIDE" or request payments for security services. The fact that someone contacted you on Telegram and asked for a code is a red flag. Do not share any store credentials or make payments.
To verify, check if the email is from an official @shopify.com domain (not a random address). You can also log in to your Shopify admin and check the Support messages section. If you're still unsure, reach out to Shopify Support directly via their official website to confirm. Stay cautious and never provide sensitive information to unverified contacts.
