Issue with Gift Cards (purchased but not appearing in dashboard)

I had a customer who has previously purchased a gift card having issues accessing a gift card they just purchased. I don't see if in the gift card dashboard. I do see her order and looked at the email they received and even clicked "resend gift card" but there still hasn't been a gift card received. I looked up the payment which was made via PayPal checkout. Any tips to finding this gift card and sending it to the customer? Thank you.
