Hi, my website is vspackaging.com.au.
I'm having a problem where updates made to one page or collection are automatically affecting another, even though they’re supposed to be separate.
For example:
I created a new contact page for custom printing inquiries:
Custom Print Request Page : https://www.vspackaging.com.au/pages/custom-print-request
I also have a general contact page:
General Contact Page: https://www.vspackaging.com.au/pages/contact
Whenever I update one of these pages, the other gets updated with the exact same content — even though they’re meant to serve different purposes.
A similar issue is happening with product collections:
Sugarcane Dinner Boxes : https://www.vspackaging.com.au/collections/sugarcane-dinner-boxes
Sugarcane Burger Boxes : https://www.vspackaging.com.au/collections/sugarcane-burger-boxes
I want them to show different products, but whenever I update one, the changes appear on both collections.
It seems like the content or layout is being shared across these pages and collections. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it?
Hey @vspackaging
You're just missing out one thing, and that is creating different templates for every page as well since these pages are sharing the same template and that is why if you make any change in one template, then the other page will automatically be updated as well because it has the same template too. So you just simply have to create different template from customization and you'll be good to go!
If I managed to help then, don't forget to Like it and Mark it as Solution!
Best Regards,
Moeed
Hey @vspackaging,
You are encountering the common issue in Shopify. This issue is happening because of the same page template is using for each each.
Here I explained on how to fix it.

Oh wow thanks!
Does it happen to my collection page too? If you go here: https://www.vspackaging.com.au/collections/sugarcane
All my title in that link has became "Sugarcane Burger Box," while i intend to change the Collection title based on the picture.
However, per my understanding, collection page is not a page. I could not find my collection page on my pages list.
Please advice me on this.
Thanks
Yes,
The collections where you want to show different data then you need to create collection template for it.
