All things Shopify and commerce
Hi there,
I'm having trouble setting up shipping, particularly for international orders. I’ve ensured that all my products are available for those markets and have selected carrier-calculated rates, but no rates appear when I test the checkout process.
To troubleshoot, I added flat rates, and those display correctly, so the issue seems to be specific to the carrier-calculated rates.
Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!
Hi @mannyt

To enable shipping rates for different locations, please check if you meet the following requirements:
Carrier-calculated shipping (CCS) rates are determined at checkout by third-party shipping carriers, ensuring accurate charges for your customers based on their order details. CCS rates allow you to charge customers the exact amount that a shipping carrier (e.g., UPS or FedEx) will charge when you purchase a shipping label. This feature is available in Shopify Advanced and above.
Go to Settings > Shipping and Delivery > General Shipping Rates and ensure that the correct carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS, or Shopify Shipping) is set up properly.
In Settings > Markets, confirm that the country you're testing is included in your active markets.
If none of the above solutions work, consider using a shipping app like Shippo, EasyShip, or Parcelify to manage more complex shipping scenarios.
I hope this helps
Best,
Daisy
