Items not appearing on the "shop" app

Hello, hoping someone can advise me with this. (approx 2 weeks ago I joined and created a website)


My problem is that my items are all showing up correctly on my website but not in the "shop" app, for mobile phones and the website "shop" I can search for my store in the app and see my items when I click on my store. But if I search for a particular item, e.g a Playstation 5, I have about 5 for sale. But none of these are appearing in the shop app, or any of my other items. I have it activated in sales channels, and you can even click on my profile in the shop app, and my items then appear. But not in searches. Any ideas how to fix this issue please?

This issue is likely due to your products not being fully optimized or approved for Shop app search visibility. Make sure all your products meet Shopify’s Shop app eligibility requirements, including having high-quality images, accurate descriptions, and proper SEO fields filled in. Additionally, check that your store has fulfilled the criteria for the Shop app (like recent order activity and a valid payment method), as visibility in search is often restricted for newer or lower-activity stores.

Here are the some reasons that why your products are not showing in the Shop app search because.

  1. Titles/descriptions lack of keywords.
  2. Your products may be missing GTIN/SKU.
  3. As of your is store is new then it can take time to index. Sometime it take 1-2 weeks.
  4. And ensure that your products meet shop app visibility and trust rules.

Make sure you use the full products name. And ensure there is barcode or SKU's added. You can confirm the channel settings.

- Make Sure Your Products Are Eligible for Shop App.
Go to “Sales Channels” > Click on Shop > Click "Manage availability".

- Check Product Visibility Settings (If your product is hidden or not set for search engines)
- Check Product “Availability” in Sales Channels
