Letter of consent for taking of account

Hi,

I am in the process of changing all of the information on the account to my father's since I am under 18. The last thing Shopify is asking me to do is upload a letter of consent stating that my father will be taking over the account. I have asked several times through the Shopify support chat about how to upload this. Shopify keeps telling me to forward the email to my father and have him reply with the consent. I have no idea what email they are talking about and there isn't any way to forward a chat. I have checked several times and haven't found any email. Nobody seems to be of help to this situation and I keep getting the same unhelpful response. How can I upload this letter of consent? I have been dealing with this for multiple weeks.

From your message it sounds like you already have an open support ticket for this, is that right? If yes, then you should have received an email from a staff member at Shopify. I can't confirm without looking into your store, but this would be the email you need to respond to and in your response, you'd need to attach your father's consent letter.

Can you confirm if you have a ticket number and if you have received an email?

Hi,

I do have a ticket number but I have not received an email. Is it possible to resend the email?

Hi, 

I still haven't received an email from Shopify regarding how to upload the letter of consent. Is there a timeline for when I can expect this? I've been dealing with this same issue for about two weeks now.
