Linking my Shopify website to my Facebook Account

I've been trying to link my Shopify account to my FB page for 2 days now and keep running in circles due to the confusing instructions on both Shopify and FB.  I'm told I need to create a FB Meta Pixel for this but both FB's and Shopify's instructions are quite confusing and lead me to dead ends.

I currently have a FB personal account and an artist's page. Do I need to convert my personal FB page to a FB Business account in order to link it to my Shopify website?  I've read that Meta Pixel's can exist in personal FB accounts, yet when I go to FB's Event Manager in my personal FB account and follow the instructions to create a Meta Pixel, it doesn't let me go passed the "Connect Sources" page.  Any instructional videos I look up on YouTube, show the creation of a Meta Pixel on a FB Business account, so wondering if I need to convert my FB personal account and artist's page to a business account?  Thanks.

Thanks but not looking to complicate the matter further by bringing in other apps and platforms. Want to simply have a connection btwn Shopify and FB. That’s all.
