Logo not the right size on header and changing from black to white on transparent header

Hi, need assistance fixing my header. 

The size is too big due to the size of my logo. When I change it to the smaller size it looks mushed and pixilated. My writing also changes from white to black from the transparent header. 

Would love some help!

I see that you are setting a high height - width to make your header bigger

Please crop your logo size like in the red highlight, not in the square

Hi, can you please recommend what size you think will work? I have tried adding over 10 different sizes however, when I move from the hover it pixelates. Very strange?

Please crop your logo to remove blank spaces under and above of it
