Hi,

This is Richard at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

The issue with your Shopify account being closed for a violation of Section 7 of the Acceptable Use Policy is likely related to the nature of your product, snowshoes. While it's not illegal to sell snowshoes, there might be specific regulations or policies that prohibit their sale on certain platforms, especially if they involve hazardous materials or activities.

Here are some possible reasons for the closure:

  • Product Restrictions: Shopify might have specific restrictions on products that involve hazardous activities or materials. Snowshoes, especially if they are designed for extreme conditions or come with accessories like crampons, might fall under these restrictions.
  • Age Verification: If your snowshoes are intended for use in activities that require a certain age, Shopify might have age verification requirements that you didn't meet.
  • Intellectual Property Violations: If your snowshoes are branded with copyrighted or trademarked materials without proper authorization, it could be considered a violation of intellectual property laws.

To resolve this issue, you'll need to contact Shopify's support team and provide them with as much information as possible about your product, including:

  • Product Description: Clearly explain what your snowshoes are and how they are used.
  • Compliance with Regulations: If your snowshoes comply with any relevant regulations or standards, provide documentation to support your claim.
  • Age Verification: If your snowshoes are intended for a specific age group, explain how you verify the age of your customers.
  • Intellectual Property: If your snowshoes are branded with copyrighted or trademarked materials, provide evidence of your authorization to use them.

Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.

Best regards,

Richard | PageFly
