Making comment section required in contact form - Dawn theme

Hi, everyone! I'm trying to make the "comment" section of my contact form required with the asterisk included. I tried using a code provided on another forum, but unfortunately, it was affecting my top and bottom padding, and everything was looking squished, so I'm hoping to get some guidance here. Thank you so much in advance! :0)

Hi if your validation is working fine you should provide the URL community will help you fixing the spacing issue.

 

To understand it clearly you can create two contact for 1 with validation having spacing issue another without having any spacing issue.

 

And share the URL.

Ah, I ended up using a Contact Us template from PageFly for now to make the page more presentable and to make the Name & Message section required. Thank you so much for the help!

I've taken a look, the page is pretty good with basic contact information (company name, physical address, email address, FAQ...) and a Contact form.

 

You can consider adding some element to improve it, such as:

  • Phone number (if any): an sooner way to get contact with your customer
  • Business hours: Specify the hours during which customers can expect a response. If you offer customer support 24/7, make this clear.
  • Location or Map: If you have a physical store or office, include a map or directions.
  • Customer support options: Provide information on different ways customers can reach out, such as email, phone, live chat, or social media channels.
  • Purpose of contact: Include options or dropdown menus for different types of inquiries (e.g., General Inquiries, Customer Support, Technical Support, Sales Inquiries, etc.).
  • Response time expectations: Let customers know how long they can expect to wait before receiving a response. Be realistic and transparent about this.
  • Social media links: Include icons or links to your social media profiles. This can be another way for customers to get in touch.
  • Multi-language support (if applicable): If you serve a diverse customer base, consider providing options for different languages.

After a customer submits a contact form, provide a confirmation message to reassure them that their message has been received.
The content on your "Contact Us" page should be clear, concise, and easy to understand. It should also align with your brand's tone and style too.
