I understand, that we can manage two POD/ Dropshipping vendors in shopify but when i order from my website 2 products (each from different vendor). The fulfilment request is going to 2 vendors (with 2 products which customer orders) . But from two vendor app the request is failing saying failed to sync and mentioned another product added. How to resolve this issue ? Please help me i am totally new here. I am adding the error below.
Hey there,
It sounds like you're encountering an issue with fulfilling orders from multiple vendors, where the fulfillment requests are failing because products from different vendors are being combined in the same order. This happens when you’re trying to fulfill multiple products from different vendors through apps that handle dropshipping or POD.
Here’s how you can resolve this:
Separate Fulfillment Requests: Most dropshipping apps allow you to fulfill each product through the corresponding vendor's platform. Shopify typically treats each product as coming from a separate supplier, but some apps may not handle multi-vendor orders properly.
To avoid this, make sure that each product is assigned to its own vendor in the Shopify order, and each vendor's app is handling only their specific products.
Check Product Assignment: Ensure that each product in the order is linked to the correct vendor. If you're using a multi-vendor dropshipping app, make sure that the right vendor is set for each product in the Shopify product details.
Manual Fulfillment Process: In some cases, you might need to manually split the order in the Shopify admin. For example, you can create two separate orders — one for each vendor — and fulfill them individually.
Use Multi-Vendor Dropshipping Apps: There are specific apps designed for multi-vendor dropshipping, which can handle orders that involve products from multiple vendors. Some popular apps that you can try:
Oberlo (for AliExpress suppliers) — Oberlo supports fulfilling orders from different vendors by creating separate requests.
Spocket — A good solution for U.S./EU-based suppliers and multi-vendor functionality.
Dropified — Allows managing orders from multiple vendors more smoothly.
Check Vendor API/Sync Settings: If the request is failing due to synchronization issues, check the settings in your app or integrations. Ensure your product data is fully synced with each vendor and there are no conflicts in product details (such as SKU mismatches, product availability, or pricing discrepancies).
Order Management Workflow: Some multi-vendor systems have automated workflows to handle such issues. Look for an option in your app's settings to handle multi-vendor orders, or try reaching out to the app's support for advice on setting up a proper workflow.
App Support: If you’ve confirmed that each product is linked to the correct vendor but are still having issues, you should reach out to the customer support teams of the apps you’re using. The app support should guide you on how to fix syncing issues between vendors.
