Hello Shopify Community! I plan on employing "Melio Payments" along with Shopify Bill Pay in order to simplify vendor payments.
If you use Melio Payments already, what changes did it bring into your operations?
Kindly share on the setting up, how quick do payments get to vendors and any cost saving eg a ch transfer or Shopify balance.
With Melio Payments, does it make it easier for you to control money movement and does it fit properly with accounting tools such as QuickBooks?
What factors led to your adoption of Melio Paymentss?
@GirardM Hey! Great choice Melio is a solid tool for vendor payments. Setup is quick, and ACH transfers are often free, especially when using Shopify Balance. Payments usually arrive in 1–3 business days. It gives better control over cash flow and works smoothly with QuickBooks for tracking. I adopted it mainly for the automation, zero-fee transfers, and accounting integration
When integrated with Shopify, Melio Payments eases payment process on vendors through automation and minimizing manual tasks.
It is easily set up using the Shopify admin panel and it syncs with QuickBooks without any problems for up to date financial information.
You do not have to pay for normal ACH payments, which take 3–5 days to process; however, there is an opportunity to speed them up at extra charge, and this will still be cheaper than if you were using cheques.
This payment system allows for better control of cash-flows as users can also make schedules for payments at a later time in future. Users adopt it because of its integration with Shopify, cost savings, easy accounting but some people say they experience delays in payments.
