There are hundreds of things that you need to look out for, such as making sure you comply with policies, having a good professional looking website, trust signals etc.

Because every merchant is unique, what you need to do will differ from case to case.

But if your question is just setting up Google Merchant Center. Then I recommend you simply go through all the settings and menu items, and fill out all the details.
