All things Shopify and commerce
I have tried everything and watched all of the videos I can handle. I must be doing something wrong, but I can not figure out what it can be. I am attaching images of what I have done thus far.
I sell apparel, barware, and cigars (through a third-party app).
I have the same template used for all products. I created metafields for the following: Care Instructions, Cigar Care, and Apparel Care.
I went under each product, selected the appropriate metafield, and added my description.
Lastly, I went to the default products page to add a collapsible row with appropriate metafield in "Row content".
Here is where I am lost. I do not see the metafield when I click the connect dynamic source icon.
Could someone please look at the images attached and help me through this? I am not sure if I need to go into the code to edit. Thank you for looking!

This is an accepted solution.
I followed the instructions and everything is now showing up except the actual metafield definitions I want to show in the different "Care Instructions". I realize this must be a user error, however, I did follow the instructions in the video and the text tutorial.
Hello @TheSlvrbckClub
Thanks for connecting with Shopify Community.
Can you please check by creating a new metafield of type richtext :
And then check the metafield is visible or not in the dynamic source. Maybe the issue is because the types are not
matched of metafield and the description setting.
Thanks
I will give that a try. Thanks.
It still won't show.
I think you might be following a convention of using metaobjects with metafields for your dynamic content. If that's the case, it appears as though you're missing the metaobject configuration.
You can try following this video for a simple path to follow for your use case https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umPT10iToKU&t=178s
Or Shopify docs to follow https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/custom-data/metaobjects/using-metaobjects
Don't skip a step and I think you should be fine
Nice, let me know if you run into an issue and please like and accept as solution if I was helpful 🙏

Did this ever work? I'm having a similar issue.
