Re: Misrepresentation Issue

Misrepresentation Issue

Hi,

I think I’m getting tired of this, and I’m seriously considering closing the store — maybe later I’ll reopen it on a fresh domain, with all new information.

I originally started my store with WordPress, and when I launched it, I received a Misrepresentation issue. I wasn’t able to fix it, so I decided to move to Shopify. Unfortunately, I’m still getting the same issue, even after making changes. The last change I made was updating my address, but I still get flagged for misrepresentation.

I’m starting to think Google is automatically flagging me.

Honestly, I don’t know what the problem could be. Maybe someone can take a look:

That’s my website.

In my last post on the Google forum, someone mentioned the main issue was my address. I’ve updated it, but the problem hasn’t gone away.

Thanks

@Ethan547423 I added on many pages my details in right place, but I don't think so here is the main problem. All contact details I think added fine.

Hello @Stuffbox ,

I can really feel your frustration — it’s disheartening to put so much effort into your store and still face the same issue, especially when you've already made changes in good faith.

The misrepresentation issue is tricky, but here are a few key things to double-check:

  1. Make sure your contact info (address, phone, email) is clearly visible.

  2. Have a proper About Us page that shows who you are.

  3. Add refund, shipping, and privacy policies — Google wants transparency.

  4. Ensure product details match what’s advertised (no missing info or big claims).

  5. Include trust elements like payment icons, SSL, maybe some reviews.

Also, sometimes domains get flagged permanently — starting fresh could help, but I suggest fixing this version first so you know what caused it.

Don’t lose hope — many of us have faced this. Happy to give feedback if you want!

@steve_michael2 Thanks for an answer, but I think I added my policy and also about us and contact page really good, I don't know, I have many times changed it and don't want to make any more changes, because I seen many pages much, much inferior and they still running, it can be with my domain maybe, I don't know if for sure.

@Stuffbox ,

I totally get you — it does feel unfair when other sites with less effort are running fine. But yes, sometimes the issue is with the domain reputation itself. If you've already tried everything, testing with a fresh domain might help. Don’t lose hope — you're definitely doing your part!

@steve_michael2 I just don't get Googles, because I wrote many letter them, I want to fix my issue, but all answers was totally created from AI letters, and no point with it. I have created many websites, but with that issue I have meet first time, I made many changes, but for nothing.
Thanks for the reply.
