Missing abandoned checkouts

In checkout section from the setting, an abandoned checkout option is missing?
Does anyone know about it?

I can't find it either. The mentioned links doesn't help as even after clicking on Settings > Checkout, there is no Abandoned Checkouts section to be found. Or does it show only when there are orders? (my shop is currently on setup mode and isn't live yet)

I have the same issue. The help docs clearly say the abandoned cart settings are in Settings > Checkout but they are not. I also have a store that is not live so perhaps this is the problem. It would be nice to be able to set up abandoned carts when a store is in the free / setup phase.
