mobile search faulty - incomplete results, or items not found, but ok on desktop

Anybody having the search function on mobile site with results being incomplete, or not being able to find items, but desktop search is able to do so? only started happening about 2 days ago.

Shopify team? what is up with these unwarranted updates again?
