All things Shopify and commerce
Hi. I'm trying to modify the breadcrumbs of my site on one specific page (not site wide).
I had to create an intermediary page that linked to a collection, which gave the option of "Sweatshirts" or "Hoodies". Whilst this navigation works fine, the breadcrumbs aren't recognising this intermediary step.
So the website path (and intended breadcrumb path) is:
Home / Legends Collection / Sweatshirts
or
Home / Legends Collection / Hoodies
However, the breadcrumbs currently do the following:
Home / Legends Collection
then
Home / Sweatshirts
Home / Hoodies
It's missing the collection step between Home and the product category.
How do I get the breadcrumbs to recognise this extra step so that users can toggle back and forth between the product and the collection?
My store is vv10.store
I'm using Outsiders theme.
The specific pages in question are:
https://vv10.store/pages/legends-collection
https://vv10.store/collections/sweaters
https://vv10.store/collections/hoodies
Temporary access password is ShopifyHelp
Hoping someone can help! Thanks!
may i know your store password? so i can investigate the issue. If you can give me store access i can do this free for you.
I can give you a collaborator request code: 2995
I have just sent you the request.
Accepted 👍
Please check if this is what you wanted.
Yes, and also for the Legends Collection step to appear in the breadcrumbs of both Sweatshirts and Hoodies pages, like the attached.
Can you please send me an email to communicate with you? I have checked and it can be done by modifying code. And in header your submenu main collection "Legeneds Collection" is also not clickable. This is a theme error. You should contact theme support to solve this or you need to hire a developer. Let me know if i can do this for you. Thank you
I've messaged you my email.
On the submenu not being clickable – it's because that's the page you are already on, so shouldn't need to be clickable (that's how it's been designed anyway).
Also on the dropdown menu, great fix – but I noticed that the font for Legends Collection is slightly smaller on mobile! Great if that is fixable.
Really appreciate your help.
