All things Shopify and commerce
I use Printful for mugs. The image is on both sides of the mug, but Printful created as the default image the side image which shows a white space with the two images that you cannot see on either side of the mug. I had to go in and edit the main image in Shopify and then that also changed it on my Printful dashboard, but in the integration between Instagram and Shopify, it still shows that sideways image. Imagine it’s not showing an image that anybody can see and is there any way to fix this problem?
Side note - tried to add a jpg and a png but file type not supported, only csv and mp4 - seriously?

Just an update. Your suggestion enabled me to go into the Printful interface and fiddle with / change all of the mockups to all front-facing images, not just the featured image; but ultimately that was taking too long, so I just decided to delete the sideways images from each mug’s Shopify product page. I figured that they were not necessary because I was showing both the front and back of each mug. Thank you.
hi and thank you for responding. I believe my images are all correctly-sized because it’s just the mugs that are showing up this way. I will have to check to make sure that the image for the mug that I am selecting is the correct one, although I do believe it is and printful just seems to want to use as a default the sideways picture of the mug; and then I do have to go into Shopify to edit it and have the main picture be the front view of the mug, which changes it on the printful dashboard; but not when you try to click on my shop in Instagram, the old default picture that Printful loves so much of the sideways view of the mug shows up, so I’m thinking that the problem is with the Instagram integration of Shopify? Printful didn’t seem to offer any explanation, so I’m just trying to see if anybody here knows how to fix it.
