multiple products pulling from one inventory item how do I track or set up inventory

I am getting ready to launch a candle company and have the same scent candle and multiple products pulling from that one inventory candle.  How can I set up the inventory so the multiple products pull from that one inventory?

That sounds awesome! When I launched my candle line, I found it super helpful to set up my inventory with a “parent-child” system. This way, I had one main listing for each scent, and all the different product types (like jars, melts, etc.) were linked to that listing. It made tracking sales way easier because everything updated automatically.

Hi @jleslie0371,

The app Material Manager is able to help with this. It allows for multiple products to share inventory with your raw materials.

In your case you would create a raw mater for each scented candle then you would link each product that uses the candle to it. Then when any of those products are sold your candle inventory in the app will go down and it will update the inventory in Shopify for all the products linked to it.
