Multiple shopify accounts under one business

Hey there, does anyone know if you can register multiple shopify accounts under one business name ? My partner and I have one main business name that we want to run multiple stores through. Wondering if anyone has done this and if it works ? Obviously we are both owners of that business name, but the shopify accounts will be registered under our own personal names. Just wondering if shopify is likely to not accept the business name if it is already registered under my partners account.

I haven't heard of any restrictions regarding registering multiple Shopify accounts under the same business name. In theory, you could create region-specific stores, all operated by the same business entity.

You can’t have multiple Shopify stores under one account, but Shopify permits and supports owning multiple accounts as needed to operate multiple stores. You need to set up accounts for each new store, managing inventory for each through their own Shopify accounts.
