Multiple Stores - Best Approach with Shopify

We are looking to create team stores for customers. Everyone will need a unique URL. It would be preferred to have one domain that blankets all the stores but not necessary. Example: Myteamstores.com/Wizards-Team-Store, Myteamstores.com/Pirates-Team-Store, Myteamstores.com/Spartans-Team-Store. We will be creating hundreds of these stores. Does Shopify have a way to handle this? If it does, what would be some recommended approaches?? Thank you!!

Seems you want to create team specific URL for all the teams. To achieve this you can use Shopify collection to create such URLs.

Example:
Myteamstores.com/collection/Wizards-Team-Store, Myteamstores.com/collection/Pirates-Team-Store, Myteamstores.com/collection/Spartans-Team-Store

You can custom dev for providing access to specific users if required.
