Through the amazing website Pixsy, I have just discovered multiple (like too many to report in my lifetime) websites that are trying to sell my pizza design, using photos that are directly linked to my Shopify store. Is there a way to keep people from using these links? I went in and deleted all the stolen photos and uploaded them again, but it is a huge time suck.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide on preventing this theft!
Hi
Are they just linking your image URLs to their stores/websites? Are they legitimate sites that you can send takedown notices too?
There is probably no way of stopping someone doing it again. One idea would be to roll the image URLs on a schedule so they would change automatically. Looking at how Shopify stores images it may require updating the file names each time as well.
Regards
Tom
