All things Shopify and commerce
Hello all,
I am writing this Post just to take some frustration out. So my store front was inactivated by Shopify for an investigation. First off let me say that just finding out that it was under investigation was a pain and they never said why. It could’ve possible be me fulfilling a high risk fraud order? (Which was a mistake on my end no doubt) I don’t know they won’t give me any insight on why this was started. But 2 days go by and they reach out asking for more information and I provide everything for them and no follow up. I contact customer support and they escalate my case again and yet still no answer as to why all this happened. And finally today they email me saying that my business present a level of risk that they cannot support. My initial thought was how does my business present this level of risk? My business is a registered single person llc so it’s completely legal and registered. I also had money in my account balance from my first order placed and now I can access it because of my storefront being inactivated. If anyone can offer any advice that would be great but it’s just soul crushing to have my hours of work to be crushed so fast and for seemingly an unjustified reason. This whole experience really leaves a really bad taste in my mount and I don’t really trust them as a business partner. But what other alternatives do I have? If there’s any recommended sites for this kind of service I would appreciate it. Thanks for listening.
