My banner looks very small on mobile

Hi! i am new at this and have no coding and theme liquid experience haha but i'd like some help at hiding this section from my page, the problem is that if you use your computer the banner looks perfect, but because the size of the image is 2400 x 800 when you use your phone the banners looks extremely small, and i would like to add another section just for mobiles with a banner size of 1080 x 1080.
