My competitor has copied my website. What should I do?

I have got a language school and during this pandemic my students have enrolled their courses through my website for their online courses. We have got great feedbacks on the payment process and the set ups for our online courses.

Recently, I have found that one of my competitors has copied my website. When I visited there for the first time, I thought it was mine. The photos are the same(Free images), the content side bars are the same, descriptions are similar to mine and the course programs are exactly the same. One different thing is the prices are lower. They used WIX but it's obvious that they copied mine .

Could you please advise me on this issue?

Hi, @AJMel,

Hank here from Shopify.

Thank you for reaching out about this issue you are facing. Copyright infringements or store data breaches are something that we take very seriously.

When a store on Shopify is deemed to be the one at fault, we always would recommend that you fill out the Shopify DMCA Notice and Takedown Procedure form for the legal team to investigate further. However, your situation is slightly different.

You mention that the store is on WIX, so you would need to follow their process. What I have done is locate this form for you, and would advise you to fill this out so their team can investigate the store directly.

I wish you all the best with this and hope this issue gets resolved for you soon.

This really sounds stressful!

Been through this a lot and I have invested money but ended up other stores are benefitting from it. I came across this UNIQUE app, and it is very cool. It detects other stores that uses my brand's images and contents.. It automatically sends a notification to me through email and it automatically deletes those photos.

Try it. they have a free trial.

Hope this helps.
