My customers are getting bank messages with extra 20% VAT added even though not correct?

Since the last few days my customers are getting a message from their bank saying "you just spent £x at Company N" sort of thing.

Problem is that the message is having 20% VAT added on a second time.

So they spend £500 but message says £600...?

Any clues what to do?
