All things Shopify and commerce
Hi, I am new to the discussion and also fairly new to Shopify.
I have a question when I first started my Shopify account. Somehow I managed to get a “my store” account and the account that eventually became “the little duck Hatchery” account. By the way, the little duck hatchery is my business. I am wondering how to get rid of the my store account as it is costing me quite a bit per month. I paid annually for my actual Hatchery account. Does anybody have any ideas on this?
Hi @LDH
I'd be happy to help you with this. It sounds like you created a second store that has an active subscription. If this is the case you would need to sign into the store admin and deactivate the store under Settings > Plans. If you created this store with the same merchant account you are using on your active storefront, then you can click your user name in the admin to change the store you are working on.
If you created it under a different email address you will want to sign out of Shopify and then sign back in with the account owner account on this second store.
Our authenticated chat support team would also be happy to help you with this if you need any additional support. To access our authenticated support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Open the AI chat window and type "contact support" to get started.
